Scot Wagner, Scot joins the team at ACME Fine Wines after spending the past four years as a happy client of ours. Curious about the wines that ACME represents, Scot would occasionally drive up from his home in San Rafael or pick up the phone to inquire about the latest and greatest wines that few knew about, except ACME of course!
In June of 2008, Scot said goodbye to expense reports, management meetings and half-day Power Point presentations after a 12-year career in sales and management in the corporate healthcare world. Following a quick trip down to Nicaragua, Scot began at ACME as our ‘summer intern’ in July. Scot embraced ACME's business, its integrity and its simple yet powerful philosophy: to introduce amazing, delicious, artisan wines to wine lovers of all levels... and to have tons of fun doing it!
Scot recently completed and passed an introductory sommelier course through the Court of Master Sommeliers and is currently enrolled in additional wine education classes at Napa Valley College. On January 1st, 2009, Scot started with ACME full-time as a sales consultant to our clients. He is overjoyed to marry his sales and management experience with his love for the great wines offered by ACME.
