Six Figures Rose Sonoma Valley 2021

In a wine world that at times can be overwhelmingly ostentatious, the crew from Six Figures is a breath of fresh air.  Six friends from every facet of the industry came together, over many “backyard bottles,” to craft wines with dedication and precision without much pretense.  As a cornerstone of their label, the “six figures” commit to never taking themselves too seriously while always putting forth wines that are as tasty as they are accessible.  Six Figures offers the 2021 Rosé of Syrah and Viognier, a culmination of their individual expertise and collective passion.

Sourced from the organically farmed Canihan Vineyard in southern Sonoma, the Six Figures Rosé boasts a unique blend not commonly seen in California rosé with its small portion of Viognier.  The final blend is 80% Syrah and 20% Viognier, aged in a combination of stainless steel, neutral oak barrels, and California amphora.  For the clay amphora, the team sources from a local potter who uses Sonoma clays to mold the vessels.  As the first debut vintage sold out in a mere four weeks, this second vintage release was highly anticipated, and it has delivered.
