Randy Lewis's interest in wine first surfaced in Europe, where he started racing in the early 1970s. "Wine was my second love during all those years," he said. His late wife Debbie, a former wine retailer, met Randy at a wine tasting, and the two were married in 1985. She then helped manage his racing career until they both decided to enter the wine business full-time in 1992. The rest is the stuff of Napa Valley lore. Their combined efforts have transformed a passion into an iconic Napa Valley winery.

Like an Aston Martin V-12 the 2019 Napa Valley Cabernet is a silky powerhouse of fruit at wide-open throttle. Black currant, plum, and juicy ripe berries rev freely on the palate with seductive oak spice, candle wax, and semi-sweet chocolate aromas. Fine-tuned and polished, the wine is deceptively powerful with supple, sweeping tannins.
