Wentworth Vineyards Pinot Noir Anderson Valley 2019
- Vintage2019
- VarietyPinot Noir

We are enamored of Pinot Noir from our neighbors in Anderson Valley- this cool climate region is just perfectly suited for growing this notoriously finicky varietal. Wentworth is a micro-estate wine that is highly allocated. Just a few cases were made available to us, and at this attractive $53 price point, this Pinot Noir is here for a good time, not a long time!
Mark and Katie Wentworth are New Jersey natives who made the cross-country trek to Northern California to pursue their love of delicious wine, farm-to-table meals with friends, and the glory of the great outdoors. They make wine solely from their two small organically farmed vineyards in Mendocino County- the Wentworth Vineyard on the Mendocino Ridge and the minuscule, three-acre Nash Mill Vineyard in Anderson Valley. Mark is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist and serves on the Board of the Save the Redwood League and the Mendocino Woodlands Camp Association. In line with his worldview, Wentworth is an environmentally conscious business and crafts coastal California wines with an honest, terroir-driven approach. The result is this balanced, elegant Pinot Noir that will leave you begging for more!
Alluring aromas and rich, textured flavors set this wine apart from the rest. This 100% Pinot Noir is brimming with of dark cherry, rosemary, and forest floor aromas. A verve of bright acidity on the palate sets the stage for mouth-filling flavors of ripe raspberry and baked plum rounded out by moderate tannins. This wine is simply gorgeous, and we are smitten! Just 330 cases produced.
