Kirchhoff Chardonnay Napa Valley 2020

From the brilliant winemaker behind the perennial ACME favorite, Hudson Chardonnay, comes another rich, creamy, and seductive Chardonnay. Clayton Kirchhoff is one of our favorite young, up-and-coming winemakers here in the Napa Valley. He is the recipient of the San Francisco Chronicle’s Winemaker to Watch accolade and has made wine with the cool kids at Realm, our pals at White Rock Vineyards, and is presently the winemaker at the celebrated Hudson Vineyards just south of us in Carneros. 

Clayton Kirchhoff, the winemaker behind the Hudson wines, delivers a phenomenal Chardonnay at under $40! The wine was fermented and aged in neutral French barrels, and spent an astonishing 23 months in barrel rounding out in flavor and texture. Full malolactic fermentation ensured that the wine will envelop your whole palate with a round creamy texture that is oh so captivating! Tropical aromas of tangerine and pineapple segue into flavors of bright stone fruit and crisp lemon sorbet.  This wine is a delightful balance of crisp and expansive - we absolutely loved it and you will too!  Only 139 cases produced.
