Zeitgeist Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2018

Zeitgeist Cellars is the brilliant collaboration between husband-and-wife winemaking team, Mark Porembski (Anomaly & Unwritten) and Jennifer Williams (Arrow & Branch, formerly of Spottswoode and Pahlmeyer). With three beautiful daughters at home and full-time responsibilities at their day jobs, how this rock-star winemaking couple finds the time to craft these gorgeous Zeitgeist wines is beyond us! They do have one important leg up: a network of longtime, close friends with impeccable vineyards. This Napa Valley Cabernet is sourced from such iconic vineyards as Sleeping Lady, Oakville Station, and Farella. The Zeitgeist wines speak to a sense of place, family ties, and the time-honored, impeccable winemaking prowess of Mark and Jennifer. 

A medium to full-bodied, upfront, yet impeccably balanced, classic style as well as impressive notes of blue fruits, violets, and flowers. The oak is nicely integrated and it has plenty of mid-palate depth, followed by a great finish.
