DuMOL Chloe Chardonnay Russian River Valley 2020

The DuMOL wines have always been top notch, and under the leadership of owner / winemaker Andy Smith, the winery has entered a new golden era in winemaking and winegrowing. These pristine wines have never been finer. 

With the 2020 vintage, Chloe is returning to its roots: a blend of multiple iconic vineyards, like it was from 2001-2015. As a result, they have removed "Ritchie Vineyard" from their label. The wine style remains consistent, with Chloe being the broadest, richest, and most Californian of their Chardonnays, still showcasing the clay soils and distinct climate found in the heart of the Russian River Valley. 

This wine shows notes of stone fruit, spearmint, flint and honeycomb. It is beautifully med-full bodied with attractive volume and breadth and you will find plenty of acidity and structure present, buried under the wine’s impressive depth and density in typical Chloe fashion.
