Kyle’s evocative labels such as Blue Monster, Until the End, and Gellis Family Domain have become fast favorites of ACME’s clientele these past few years. We are thrilled to introduce the latest offering in Kyle’s portfolio, a gorgeous new wine from a near-perfect vintage. 

One of Napa’s most talented bright young stars, Kyle Gellis had an unlikely path to becoming a vintner. At just 18 years old, he founded wildly successful Warped Cigars in Miami, Florida where he honed his skills at blending tobaccos with various alluring aromatics. After remarking that luxury cigar aficionados frequently shared a strong passion for fine wine, Kyle took a trip to Napa Valley to see if his knack for tobacco blending might translate to commingling various lots of plush, velvety, and perfumed Cabernet Sauvignon. Kyle’s hunch was right, his wines were immediate crowd-pleasers.  

Jason Dumont Grand Vin Cabernet Sauvignon takes its name from Kyle and his father’s respective middle names. Dad was an early supporter of his affection for wine and this bottling is an homage to the Gellis family. Bold yet elegant, with fruit sourced from David Abreu’s famed Las Posadas Vineyard, Kyle has teamed up once again with esteemed winemaker Lloyd Matthews of Nine Suns fame to craft just 45 cases of this blockbuster Cabernet Sauvignon.  

100% Cabernet Sauvignon aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months, the nose emits notes of black bramble fruit, blackberry liqueur, Asian spices, a touch of graphite, and crushed rock. This sensation is followed by a lovely palate of ripe black and blue fruits, eucalyptus, and rich tannins that flow across the palate.
