For the Taub Family, wine has always been more than a passion; it has been a thread woven through four generations. It began with Marty Taub, who helped rebuild the American wine landscape in the wake of Prohibition. By 1930, Marty had become a key figure in revitalizing wine imports, reintroducing a culture of fine wine to a nation ready to embrace it again. His legacy was carried forward by his son David, who co-founded Palm Bay International in 1977, bringing together a world of distinctive wines under one banner.

In 2013, David’s son, Marc, turned his gaze westward, founding Taub Family Vineyards in Napa Valley. Here, in one of the world’s most celebrated wine regions, he laid the foundation for a new era. Today, Marc and his son Jake are writing the next chapter, with Napa as their home base and a portfolio of artisanal wines and spirits as their canvas. Their vision is clear: to craft wines of place—wines that reflect the vineyards where they are grown with purity and precision.

That vision is embodied in the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon from the legendary Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard in Rutherford. This historic site, planted in the heart of Napa Valley, has long been revered for producing Cabernet of remarkable depth and character. The Taub Family’s interpretation is a study in elegance and power: layers of blackcurrant and ripe blackberry interwoven with notes of cedar, graphite, and warm earth.
