Sky Devil Wines was founded in 2017 by Marine Corps aviators Jeff Goldberg and Matt Vogt, whose connection to military aviation runs deep. Jeff’s grandfather flew with Marine Squadron VMF-311 in WWII, while Matt is a third-generation naval aviator and Marine Harrier attack pilot who served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Their shared history inspired the name Sky Devil, and their label proudly features the legendary F4-U Corsair fighter plane.

Just as the Corsair became an enduring symbol of courage, Sky Devil was built to honor heritage, celebrate excellence, and give back. A portion of every sale directly supports veteran causes—from scholarships for veterans in business school to pro-bono consulting for veterans pursuing their own entrepreneurial dreams. Every purchase helps forward that mission.

These are wines that can hold their own among Napa’s most iconic bottlings, but carry a story and spirit that make them unlike anything else.

82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Malbec, the hedonistic 2021 Formation is made from a blend of powerful mountain near Howell Mountain and a classic Napa valley-floor vineyard. Aged for 26 Months in 100% new French oak, the wine’s mouthfeel is rich and dense with ripe black fruits, cassis, baking spices, and lots of sweet, toasty oak. These robust flavors are followed by ripe, chewy tannins and a long, opulent, sultry finish. Just 235 cases produced.
