Dominus Red Blend Napa Valley 2023

We’re pleased to offer the newly released Dominus 2023 — a 100-point vintage from Christian Moueix’s historic Napanook Vineyard in Yountville.

Planted in 1838 at the foothills of the Mayacamas, Napanook’s gravelly, volcanic soils and cooling breezes from San Pablo Bay shape one of Napa’s most refined Cabernet expressions. The 2023 season — marked by abundant winter rainfall and a long, moderate growing cycle — delivered exceptional depth and balance, harvested patiently in mid-October under ideal conditions.

Composed of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot; aged 20 months in 40% new French oak.

"The 2023 Dominus is absolutely gorgeous, with an incredible level of purity and refinement. Cassis, graphite, crushed stone, melted crayons, and floral nuances all define the aromatics. It’s medium to full-bodied, with seamless, refined elegance, ultra-fine tannins, beautiful mid-palate depth, and outstanding length.
