Etienne Delarche Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2024

Much to our delight, there are still corners of Burgundy that feel undiscovered. In the
peaceful valley of Pernand-Vergelesses, beneath the watchful slope of Corton, a small family domaine works without fanfare — no grand façade, no glossy branding — just patient farming and deeply soulful wines. Domaine Etienne Delarche is a beautiful reminder that great Burgundy can still be transparent, moving, and within reach.

The whites are creamy and composed, with a quiet power that takes a cue from grand cru Corton-Charlemagne. Not flashy. Not overworked. Just layered Chardonnay that hums with stone, orchard fruit, and the kind of natural concentration that only old vines and careful farming can deliver.

The reds? Pure Pinot Noir pleasure. Spiced and refined, graceful from the start but built to evolve. They carry that unmistakable Pernand signature — freshness wrapped around depth — and they age with a kind of dignity that feels increasingly rare.

We're offering a small selection from the Delarche lineup — whites and reds that capture the spirit of Pernand-Vergelesses in its purest form. If you love Burgundy for its nuance rather than its label, for its perfume rather than its power, this is a beautiful place to land.

From a handful of fifty-year-old vines perched high on gray marl, this grand cru carries both breadth and lift. Fermented and aged in French oak for 14 months, it opens with lime zest, crushed stone, and a whisper of spice. Fresh and tangy at first, it deepens with air, unfolding into layered citrus and a long, silky, mineral finish.
